  Sant Tukaram College of Arts & Science, is an Under-graduate and Post-graduate College located in Parbhani, Maharashtra, founded in 1998 by Sanjivani Education Society. It is named after the great Marathi Saint, "Sant Tukaram Maharaj", also referred to as Bhakta Tukaram, Tukoba and Tukobaraya, was a seventeenth century poet-saint of the Bhakti movement in Maharashtra. He was part of the egalitarian, personalized Varkari devotionalism tradition. Tukaram is best known for his Abhanga devotional poetry and community-oriented worship with spiritual songs known as kirtans. His poetry was devoted to Vitthala or Vithoba.   कारण अभ्यास तुका म्हणे ||

  is from his abhaanga's. It means, impossible can become possible if you do hard works and take efforts. For that ABHYAS (STUDY) means doing any thing, continuously till you achieve that. With the above motto, the institute and college staff worked hard in achieving the goal.In its early years, in year 2000, college got "Best Examination Centre" award of parent university, Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada university, Nanded (MS). Currently, the College offers Under-graduate courses in Arts and Science stream and Post-graduate degrees in Marathi, Psychology, Geography from Arts faculty and Industrial Microbiology from science faculty.
